We're a husband-and-wife team Linh and Tyler who saw a gap in how people discover and support local businesses. We wanted to make it easier for people to find great businesses close to home while helping business owners succeed in a digital-first world.

With over 15 years of experience in marketing across industries like real estate and education, Linh experienced this challenge firsthand. While searching for balloons and birthday ideas from local vendors for her daughter, what should have been simple experience turned into hours of research browsing websites, scrolling social media, reading reviews, and asking for recommendations. It quickly became clear: there had to be a better, more efficient way to connect people with local businesses. That's how Find Local Things was created, a platform designed to make discovery easier for users and more accessible for businesses.

At our core, we believe every business deserves a fair opportunity to be found. Our listings aren't influenced by who spends the most we've built this platform to prioritize accessibility and equal visibility. Through our work with small and medium-sized businesses, we've seen how often local owners are underserved or overwhelmed when it comes to marketing. Our goal is to change that by creating a space that supports both the people searching and the businesses ready to serve them.
